LGVMA Student Scholarship Information

Each year, the Lesbian and Gay Veterinary Medical Association awards two scholarships of at least $750 each to veterinary students who support our mission. The LGVMA is a United States and Canadian organization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered veterinarians, veterinary students, technicians and their supporters. The organization works to provide support for individuals, to educate the community, and to provide a forum for information exchange and social interaction in order to foster a professional climate in which its members can achieve their full potential.

LGVMA is in the process of a GLBT veterinary technician membership outreach campaign, and is investigating starting a scholarship program for vet tech students in 2009/10. For more information, contact vettechs@lgmva.org)
