• Become a mentor for a veterinary or veterinary technician student -

  Sign up with the AVMA Mentoring Center and specifically mention your interest in providing support for GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) mentees (best to spell out the GLBT acronym so it shows up in their search engine)

• Become a mentor for someone who is coming out

• Help plan a social event at an upcoming meeting

• Help with mailings such as membership renewals or directories

• Help design new items such as brochures, letterhead, flyers

• Volunteer to represent LGVMA at a local VMA or vet school meeting
