LGVMA Veterinary Student Leadership Awards and the LGVMA Veterinary
Technician Student Scholarship. The Victory Institute
is excited to launch the
first-ever congressional fellowship for emerging LGBTQ leaders. The
program includes travel to and from Washington, D.C.; a generous
stipend of $28,000 through May 14, 2014; reimbursement for health
insurance of up to $400 per month; as well as paid travel and
registration for the LGBT Leaders 2013 Conference in Denver this
December. Applications for Summer 2013 are due Monday,
April 1, 2013

Donations may
be made to any of the following
funds: General
Fund - Donations to
this fund can be used by the board of directors for general operating
costs such as website, meetings and other operating costs. Student
Scholarship Fund -
Donations are earmarked for our student scholarship program typically
2-4 students per year. Education
Fund - Donations
are earmarked for our education program, such as sponsoring keynote
lectures or producing educational materials such as "Sexual Diversity
in the Animal Kingdom" DVD. NOTE: LGVMA is a
501(c)6 not-for-profit membership association. Dues and donations may
be tax-write offs for business expenses. We always recommend that you
talk to your tax person.

and gay Veterinary Medical Association is the professional organization
